The Story of Return of Chandramukhi 3 Drona
The movie revolves around the Nellur Mana, a centuries-old mansion that is believed to be haunted by the ghost of Chandramukhi, a dancer who was killed by a king for loving his brother. The mansion is owned by Kunjunni (Mammotty), a wealthy businessman who lives in Dubai. He decides to renovate the mansion and make it a tourist attraction, but he faces opposition from his relatives and the locals who fear the wrath of Chandramukhi. Kunjunni visits the mansion with his friend Sunny (Suraj Venjaramood) and his girlfriend Ganga (Navya Nair), who is a psychiatrist. They encounter strange and supernatural events in the mansion, such as voices, visions, and objects moving on their own. Kunjunni also finds a portrait of Chandramukhi in the mansion and becomes obsessed with her.
The Haunted Mansion
The Nellur Mana is one of the main attractions of the movie, as it creates a spooky and eerie atmosphere for the viewers. The mansion is shown to have a dark and mysterious history, as it was built by a king who had two wives, one of whom was Chandramukhi. Chandramukhi was a talented dancer who fell in love with the king's brother, but the king found out and killed them both. He then buried Chandramukhi's body in the basement of the mansion and sealed it with a lock that can only be opened by her blood. The king also cursed the mansion and anyone who tries to enter it or disturb Chandramukhi's spirit. The mansion has been abandoned for many years and is rumored to be haunted by Chandramukhi's ghost, who seeks revenge on anyone who comes near her.
The Mysterious Deaths
The movie takes a turn when Kunjunni is found dead in his room in the mansion, with a knife in his chest and blood on his face. The police suspect that he committed suicide, but his brother Madhavan (Mammotty), who is also a businessman and lives in Mumbai, does not believe it. He comes to Kerala to investigate his brother's death and finds out that there have been other deaths in the mansion before. He learns that Kunjunni's father had also died in the same room under similar circumstances, and that Kunjunni's grandfather had also died mysteriously in the mansion. Madhavan suspects that there is something more to these deaths than meets the eye and decides to stay in the mansion with Ganga, Sunny, and his cousin Ananthan (Manoj K. Jayan), who is a priest.
The Revelation of Chandramukhi
The movie reaches its climax when Madhavan discovers the truth about Chandramukhi and her connection to his family. He finds out that Chandramukhi's spirit has possessed Ganga, who is actually his niece and Kunjunni's daughter. He also learns that Kunjunni had married Ganga's mother Rajalakshmi (Kanika), who was also possessed by Chandramukhi, without knowing her identity. Rajalakshmi had died during childbirth and Ganga had inherited her mother's curse. Madhavan realizes that Chandramukhi has been killing his family members one by one to take revenge on them for being descendants of the king who killed her. He also finds out that Chandramukhi's blood can open the lock in the basement where her body is buried. He decides to confront Chandramukhi and free Ganga from her possession. b70169992d
