Easy Recovery Essentials (EasyRE) Pro - Windows 7, 8, 10l
Ok... so we're done giving our long-winded reasons for you not to use the non-destructive repair tool that has served us so well, and you're ready to proceed with your repair. Simply insert the EasyRE CD or USB drive into your computer and follow the onscreen instructions which will guide you through each stage of EasyRE's repair or scan operation.
The PC repair process is very simple. Press the Next button to move from one screen to the next and to begin repairing your damaged Windows installation. If errors are encountered then an Ignore option may be available to continue or Cancel to return to the PC repair screen.
As we mentioned earlier, EasyRE includes a comprehensive memory scan routine and checks for and reports any errors in reading or writing to the disk Windows is installed on. If a problem is detected then the user is warned about it (usually with a blinking red alert), and the user is presented with a restore or repair option or the option to continue the repair. If the PC was shut down during the repair then the repair will only start if the computer is booted by the EasyRE drive or CD or USB. And, of course, the repair can be performed on a bare-bones Windows PC where no hard drive or disk is present.
The EasyRE repair process is long if it detects multiple Windows installations on your PC. And it is slow at detecting and fixing hardware problems (such as a failing hard drive or a failing power supply). To speed up the repair process and simplify the repair if not too many Windows installations are present on the PC then we recommend that you run the EasyRE repair prior to replacing or upgrading any of your hardware.
